Welcome to Square Up Archery! Americas #1 bow torque indicators for modern bow shooters.

What our customers have said about our product!

Hi Mike:

I tried out your product today and all I can say is WOW!!!!!  I never been able to shoot a tight group at 20 yards before.  Shooting at 30 yards is still a little difficult but I'm sure in time I will be able to figure it out. I'm sorry I ever doubted you.  I will make sure to tell all my friends about your product.

Thank you for communicating with me these past few months, I'm glad you didn't give up on me.

Take Care: Greg Wurz

Target"Wow! This is amazing! I just started shooting this past December and to be honest I was not too excited about it since I had to always chase my arrows, until I ran across Square Up! As soon as I installed it and fitted it to my comfort level it was as if I weren't even the one shooting the same bow anymore! I was shooting straight and my accuracy was amazing! Within a few shots I had noticed that if I didnt move back further I would be buying new arrows very soon...But hey, who doesn't want that Robin Hood right! It was an amazing experience and I just ordered another one for my second bow! I now can not ever see myself shooting any bow, especially mine, WITHOUT a Square Up! I can not wait till deer season opens here in Texas and the next deer will be because of your product! Mr Scaniffe, you are a genius and I wish nothing but success for you in the future. It truly is a great product and you sir, I must say, have changed, for the better, the way archers shoot with this product!! Please know you have a life long customer and friend. Thank you very much again!" - Miguel Castro

Hey Mike,
I just wanted to say thanks for making a good quality product that actually does what it says.  Since installing your square-up, my groups have really tightened up.  I am really looking forward to this season with it installed on my bow.  I know that when I'm at full draw, and my body is torqued, that as long as I have my pin in the center of the square-up, my shot will be true. Thanks again, - Brian Colasurdo

http://lightningbowstrings.com/sites/default/files/imagecache/product/scott.jpg"I shot this buck at only 12 yards from 25ft. out of a tree stand... Shooting at extreme angles, your form inevitably suffers...especially when under pressure...The Square-Up instantly helps you correct any torque you are applying to the bow...giving you an excellent reference, shot after shot....I won't shoot another bow without one." - Scott R. Bledsoe Mossy Oak ProStaff

I would first like to say that I am not torqued out anymore. The simplicity of using this device, plus an easy 0% learning curve makes this accessory or no brainier.  It is another aid to help archers maintain correct form, accuracy and makes long range fun shooting. Being a small business owner myself, you appreciate innovation and the products that follow that same path. This product let’s you have a stack attack at 50yrds with ease. I was on an Ontario bear hunt last year and smoked a 300lb black bear; it definitely helps with the adrenaline rush. It also helps my kids grasp the concept / sport of archery by making shooting fun, accurate and relativity quick to master. - John Logalbo - Owner Scorpion Venom Archery

"Alright man so here’s the deal. I went out and shot the bow today and after I got my sights back up and running it worked great. I can honestly say the square up focused me eye and I was making a lot better shots at 30 yards than I normally do. I really loved using it and I will hunt it tommorow and if I get one to walk in I am hopin to get a shot off. It really worked great .” - Jason

I would like to thank you for setting me up with this Square Up. As you know I was having problems with my groups at 30 and 40 yards. I could see the arrows fish tailing and not taking their projected course causing me to have literally no solid groups. Every shot I took through paper showed something wrong. You immediately said to me that I need the Square Up. I was amazed about how fast it was to set up and no special installation equipment required anyone could set it up(no offense). My first shot with it I drew and could immediately see that bow was out of square. A little twist of the wrist and I was putting perfect holes through paper every time!! My groupings at 30 and 40 yards tightened up so much that I can only shoot 3 arrows at a time or I'm breaking knocks and tearing fletches!! Thank you so much I feel more confident in taking longer shots and shots through small openings. This is truly an incredible piece of equipment!! - Matt

http://lightningbowstrings.com/sites/default/files/imagecache/product/turkey.jpg I have been a archery hunter for over 20 years. I also 3D shoot on the weekends when I can. But I do shoot just about every night in my back yard. So my archery skills I thought were well honed. So when Mike Scaniffe showed me the square up he designed and how it works I didn't think I would need it. Well I was wrong, the square up took away any torque that I had and actually has improved my long range accuracy. I know start my practices at 30 yards and work out from there with out any hesitation. This square up is a great product for anyone just starting out or the more experienced archer. Every bow hunter should seriously think of putting this on there bow before they hit the woods this year. The bottom line is, this is the real deal IT WORKS. - Jeff

Takedown of 423lb. Russian Boar
http://lightningbowstrings.com/sites/default/files/imagecache/product/bowstrings2.jpgOn a spot-n-stalk stalk hunt in the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee, I took this Monster Russian Boar. When I was at full draw, I could view my pins perfectly through my square up, and I knew hand torque was not a factor. The Square Up continues to prove itself. Thanks to Mitch Kemmer and the professionals at Spartan Hunting Preserve for an unforgettable hunting experience.  Very Respectfully, - Henry Alvarez Jr. Lightning Bowstrings Field Staff

As a finger shooter I am always looking for ways to improve my accuracy and increase my effective shooting range. I have avoided switching to a release because I enjoy the direct contact with the string however I am well aware of the variability this adds to the execution of a shot. I was recently made aware of a revolutionary development in sighting aids called the SQUARE-UP. I was at first skeptical – How could something this simple have not been developed by now? How could something this simple work effectively? After several conversations with the inventor of the SQUARE-UP I decided to give it a try. I was at first reluctant to install the device in the middle of hunting season however I saw that it would be easy to install and remove if I found it adversely impacted my sight picture or required a significant amount of getting used to. The first thing I noticed was how simple installation was – it didn't require any more than 15 minutes to install on the bow and it didn't require a bow press. Even more impressive was the fact that unlike many other shooting aids it took only a few minutes to align properly and it was ready for use. The SQUARE-UP was developed to help a shooter recognize and minimize bow torque created by too firm a grip on the bow. The remarkable thing about this shooting aid is that one doesn't even have to shoot the bow to see how it works. Once installed you only have to extend your bow arm, draw back the bow and squeeze your bow grip to see how effective this device is. You will immediately see the effect of bow torque and the SQUARE-UP will remind you to loosen your grip. My initial concerns that the sight picture would be crowded or obscured vanished. It took only a few shots to get used to aligning the sight pins between the SQUARE-UP pins. The effect on accuracy was also immediately evident – my groups became tighter, especially at greater distances. I am now more comfortable extending my effective shooting distance. To say that I am pleased with the SQUARE-UP would be an understatement. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to any shooter interested in improving their accuracy. - Durand Cercone

Mike, I have been shooting it on my Dream Season. It really does what you say, it makes it very easy to see if you torque the bow in any way. I've had a couple of friends shoot it and they seemed impressed. The packaging and individual parts and product look great, very high quality. - Steve

Thanks again Mike and Square Up. This product really produces in the field with quick target acquisition. Hunting the turkey season with this was a great addition to my sight for me. With two toms in my sights, one in my ground blind 30 yards away for the shot and stalked, the other tom in a field on low crawl through the grass for a 25 yard shot with 4 turkeys in the field. It took 45 min. to get there for the shot. The big tom started to strut , he turns his back to me and i got up on one knee in a split second to make the shot on the money!

The Square Up really works!!! Especially after you have a few dozen shots under your belt, your arms and shoulders tend to ajdust for fatigue (if you realize it or not) the square up showed me that my draw is not the same every time (even though I felt like it is) the Square up showed me I was off and allowed me to adjust myself properly before each shot. The results is I just won 1st place in the Deerman 3D Texas State Championships. I am the guy on the right (with the Gold Buckle) Thanks for a great product. -Henry Alvarez

http://lightningbowstrings.com/sites/default/files/imagecache/product/robinhood.jpgMike, I just got the 2" SQUARE-UP and put on my parker bow, This will keep the archer lined up and keep from going left or right at all distances. I took out at 20 yards and shot the 1st robin hood ever in my life , i have be shooting since I was a kid, 1st compounds of 70's tradition and back to today compound I'm 60 yrs. old;. took knocks off but as you can see in the picture this is dead center, carbon tech arrows. I recommend this to every shooter young and old it will help you not torque the bow, for the little shooter this will help start right without developing a bad habit of torqing the bow. - Bob Hutchings

Wow. The benefits of Square-Up were immediate at the range and in the field. You've launched a revolution in tack-driving-precision in archery. The design is simple yet revolutionary. Thank you for correcting a phantom problem that has haunted me for years. I've been bow hunting for over 30 years and have been teaching bow hunter safety for over 17 years. I feel that I have a consistent and effective shooting form, yet I still "throw an arrow" every once in a while. I couldn't decisively nail the cause until now. After shooting with the Square-Up I discovered that on occasion I introduce a random torque after drawing the bow. Now I can see it and correct it immediately when it happens. There have been many technical improvements in archery gear over the years, but Square-Up is more than just an improvement. It will start a revolution of increased accuracy in the sport. - Paul Vuto
